Wow! I just completed my first commission! Its done, delivered and paid for! It was a 3x4 oil painting of this lady's (very large) house for a birthday present. I had a month to complete it - so it wasn't nearly dry when I was done, but my costumer loved it anyway - it was such a relief! But I'm really glad for the experience - not to mention the much needed funds for Christmas presents.
It's been almost a year since I updated...eek. I really need to take a vacation more often. Anyway, there's lots more art to do - I'm kinda addicted to the whole selling my work thing - so I'm trying to get my past work out there and start planning for whats next. I really want to do a full show - and i was lucky enough to find a few local places that would like to show some work. All in All I'm pretty excited about all of it - I'm just gonna have to have a break before I do another commission - that was way too stressful.
